In short: PipTrend follows the TradingView username saved on your Whop membership. Open the Tradingview Access app inside your PipTrend membership on Whop, type the new username exactly as TradingView shows it, and click Update. The old username loses access right away. Then sign in to that TradingView account and reload it. PipTrend appears under Indicators, in the Invite-only tab.
When you need this
- You entered the username with a typo, and PipTrend never showed up.
- You want PipTrend on a different TradingView account, for example a new one.
- You changed your username on TradingView itself. TradingView lets every user change it twice, under Settings and billing, Public profile. Access follows the username, so update it on Whop as well.
Access is tied to one TradingView username per membership, never to an email address or a display name.
Step 1: Copy the new username from TradingView
- Sign in to the TradingView account that should get PipTrend.
- Click your profile picture in the top left corner.
- The name at the top of the menu is the username. Copy it exactly as written.
Step 2: Change it on Whop
- Open your PipTrend membership on Whop.
- Open the Tradingview Access app inside it.
- Replace the username in the field with the new one and click Update.
The old username loses PipTrend access right away, and the new one gets it.
Step 3: Check it on TradingView
- Make sure you are signed in to the TradingView account with the new username.
- Reload TradingView.
- Click Indicators, then under Personal click Invite-only. PipTrend is listed there.
If PipTrend isn’t there after a reload, click Claim Indicators in the Tradingview Access app, then reload TradingView again.
Your saved indicator templates and layouts belong to the old TradingView account. On the new account, add PipTrend again and save a new layout. See Layouts and templates.
If it doesn’t work
- PipTrend doesn’t appear on the new account: compare the username on Whop with TradingView letter by letter, then reload. See PipTrend not showing on your chart.
- You can’t edit the username on Whop: write to our support with your old and your new TradingView username:
