In short: check these in order. The username on Whop is spelled exactly like your TradingView username. You are signed in to that same TradingView account. You reloaded TradingView. You open Indicators and the Invite-only tab instead of searching. Your membership or trial is still active. On the free plan, no more than two indicators are visible. And TradingView’s own candles are turned off, so the PipTrend candles show.

1. Check the username on Whop

Access is tied to one TradingView username. A typo, a display name or an email address does not match your account.

  1. In TradingView, click your profile picture, top left. The name at the top of the menu is your username.
  2. On Whop, open your PipTrend membership and the Tradingview Access app inside it.
  3. Compare the two letter by letter. If they differ, correct the username in the field and click Update.

2. Check which TradingView account you are signed in to

If you have more than one TradingView account, PipTrend shows only in the one whose username is on your membership. Click your profile picture and check the username at the top of the menu.

3. Reload TradingView

After you claim or change access, reload the TradingView page. If PipTrend still doesn’t appear, sign out of TradingView and sign in again.

4. Open the Invite-only tab

  1. Open a chart and click Indicators in the top toolbar.
  2. In the window Indicators, metrics, and strategies, under Personal, click Invite-only.
  3. Click a PipTrend script once to add it.

The Invite-only tab only appears once a script author has given your username access. No tab means the access has not reached your account yet: go back to step 1.

On the TradingView mobile app, PipTrend is in the same place: open the indicators on the chart, then the Invite-only section. Sign in with the same TradingView account as on the web.

5. Check that your membership is active

When a membership or trial ends, Whop removes your username, and PipTrend leaves the Invite-only tab. Check your membership on Whop. See How to manage or cancel your plan.

6. The free plan shows two indicators at a time

On the TradingView free plan, two indicators can be visible on a chart at the same time. If two are already visible, a new one may not show. Hide one with the eye icon next to its name in the chart’s legend, or remove it. Hidden indicators don’t count toward the two. See Build your PipTrend chart.

7. PipTrend is on the chart, but the candles look normal

TradingView’s own candles are drawn in front of the PipTrend candles and hide their colours.

  1. Right-click the chart and choose Settings….
  2. On the Symbol tab, untick Body, Borders and Wick.
  3. Click Ok.

If you use two PipTrend indicators that both draw candles, set one of them to Hidden under Candle display. See Add PipTrend to your chart.

FAQ

Why is PipTrend not showing in my Invite-only scripts?

Usually the username on Whop doesn’t match your TradingView username exactly, or you are signed in to a different TradingView account. Correct the username on Whop, sign in to the right account, and reload TradingView.

Why is the Invite-only tab missing after I joined PipTrend?

The tab appears once Whop has added your username to the PipTrend scripts. If it is missing, the username on your Whop membership doesn’t match your TradingView username yet, or you are signed in to a different TradingView account. For how the tab works with any author’s scripts, see Invite-only scripts on TradingView.

Why did PipTrend disappear from my chart?

Access ends when your membership or trial ends, and the scripts leave the Invite-only tab. Check your membership on Whop.

Does PipTrend show on the TradingView mobile app?

Yes. Sign in to the app with the same TradingView account, and PipTrend is in the Invite-only section of the indicators, the same as on the web.

Use the Invite-only tab under Personal in the Indicators window. That tab lists every invite-only script your username can use.

Why can’t I add a third indicator on the free plan?

The free plan shows two indicators on a chart at a time. Hide or remove one first. Hidden indicators don’t count.
